Troy Deeney signs a new four-year contract with Championship club Watford.

Troy Deeney has signed a new four-year contract with Championship club Watford.

The 26-year-old had been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League this summer, but has now said that he is happy to "put to bed" the rumours linking him away from Vicarage Road.

On an Instagram photo, Deeney wrote: "Happy to have signed my new 4 year contract with @watfordfcofficial and put to bed these transfer rumours.

"Eyes firmly on promotion and another 20+ goals. Hopefully you're all as happy as I am with the news."
