Jonny Evans "delighted" for Salomon Rondon

West Bromwich Albion defender Jonny Evans speaks of the squad's delight after Salomon Rondon ends a goal drought that dated back to the last day of October.

Jonny Evans has insisted that the entire West Bromwich Albion squad were "delighted" to see Salomon Rondon end his goal drought away at Bristol City this evening.

The Venezuelan had not scored since late October, but he put that right at Ashton Gate by firing in the only goal of the game to send the Baggies into the fourth round of the FA Cup.

"Everyone is pleased for him - you can see that by everyone going over to congratulate him," Evans told BT Sport.

"We know the work he puts in up front. He hasn't maybe got his rewards over the last couple of months, so we're delighted for him."

Rondon has now scored four goals in a West Brom shirt, three of which have come away from The Hawthorns.
