James Morrison has told West Bromwich Albion teammate Saido Berahino to continue his recent run of form in order to reap the rewards.
The 21-year-old striker has scored six goals in all competitions for the Baggies so far this season, which led to many tipping the youngster for a call-up to the England senior side.
Berahino had to make do with a place in the Under-21 fold, however, but Morrison believes that the Burundi-born forward is well on track to enjoying a bright future.
"He is causing defences problems," the Birmingham Mail quotes him as saying. "He just needs to keep doing what he's doing and be patient. If he does, good things will come to him.
"He's only young but he just needs to keep doing what he's doing. It's a simple message. He's been working hard. Fair play to him, his attitude has been first class and that's showing on the pitch. Long may it continue because I think everyone at the moment is playing well."
West Brom are currently 14th in the Premier League table.
