Adrian: 'West Ham United focused on beating Chelsea'

Adrian insists that out-of-form West Ham are fully focused on beating Chelsea when they welcome the Premier League leaders to Upton Park.

West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian has insisted that he and his teammates are fully focused on beating Chelsea on Wednesday night.

The Hammers welcome the Premier League leaders to Upton Park having failed to win their last five games in the competition.

While he admits that West Ham are likely to be kept busy by Chelsea's attacking riches, Adrian is confident that they can secure a positive result against Jose Mourinho's side.

"We need to concentrate for the full 90 minutes and if we play well and show our performance level like we did against Liverpool, Man City and Man United at home, we can get points," he told the club's official website.

"This game, the goalkeeper is busy because they have good players and good strikers, so you normally need to make good saves to keep your side in the game. I hope Wednesday will be a good game for me and for the team. It's a tough game for us, but all our players are motivated for this game."

West Ham are currently in ninth place in the table following Saturday's 3-1 defeat at home to Crystal Palace.
