Chelsea's Jose Mourinho: 'Manchester United still in Premier League title race'

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho believes that Manchester United are still in the race for the Premier League title, despite sitting 10 points behind.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that Manchester United still pose a threat in the Premier League title race, despite being 10 points off the pace.

The Blues have a five-point lead over second-placed Manchester City with a game in hand following their rivals' 2-1 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday.

While many have described the title charge as a two-horse race between Chelsea and City, Mourinho is refusing to rule out Louis van Gaal's side.

"It's in the hands of everyone," ESPN quotes Mourinho as saying. "We have lots of difficult matches to play. City have difficult matches. [United] are in the title race too. Liverpool [beating Manchester City] - I predicted that."

Chelsea already have a trophy in the cabinet this season following yesterday's League Cup final victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley.
