Slaven Bilic: 'Watford totally deserved the win'

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic believes that Watford "totally deserved" their 2-0 win at Vicarage Road.

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has admitted that Watford deserved their 2-0 win at Vicarage Road and his side need to move on quickly.

An Odion Ighalo double saw the Hornets get their second win on the bounce in the Premier League, and Bilic has acknowledged that his team did not rise to the occasion once the hosts started asking them questions.

The Croatian told reporters: "We were outplayed and they totally deserved it. They showed respect to us for ten minutes, but when they realised we weren't playing forward and were instead moving from side to side they pressed us and totally deserved it even if the goals were mistakes.

"We have to start with the same anger the boys were feeling in the dressing room after the game. We have to make this a one off.

"Of course I am disappointed because of the way we played and the way we lost the game. We didn't play in a proper grown up, serious way."

The result sees West Ham drop out of the Champions League places and into fifth in the Premier League table.
