Carlton Cole has described scoring at Wembley this afternoon as the "best feeling" he has ever experienced.
The English striker broke the deadlock for West Ham United in their encounter against Blackpool in the playoffs - a game which the Hammers won 2-1 - to secure promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
Reflecting on the match, Cole praised his teammates for dealing with the pressure that was placed upon them.
"I thought we could have played a lot better but it's the best feeling in the world to score at Wembley," Cole told Sky Sports News.
"We were favourites to win the league at the start of the season and it was a burden on our shoulders. But we've dealt with the pressure."
Cole joined West Ham from Chelsea in 2006.
