West Ham United reportedly have no plans to part ways with manager David Moyes, despite the club's poor season in the Premier League.

West Ham United reportedly have no intention of sacking manager David Moyes, despite another disappointing week for the club.

On the back of two seasons which resulted in European qualification, the Hammers were again expected to challenge for a top-seven finish in the Premier League standings.

Instead, West Ham occupy 16th position, only one point above the relegation zone, after collecting just 23 points from 25 matches.

Ahead of a meeting with Nottingham Forest at the end of last month, it was suggested that defeat in that fixture would result in Moyes being removed from his position in the dugout.

West Ham won that game by a 4-0 scoreline, each of the goals coming in the final quarter, but defeats have since followed at Manchester United in the FA Cup and Brighton & Hove Albion in the top flight.

After capitulating at Old Trafford on Wednesday night, West Ham replicated that effort on Saturday as the Seagulls won 4-0, leading to supporters calling for Moyes's exit.

The Scot indicated after the match that, while the reaction was understandable, he wanted fans to continue to back his team during an important stage of the season.

According to the Daily Mail, West Ham will play those fixtures with Moyes still at the helm with the club's hierarchy not planning to make a change.

The report suggests that the veteran boss continues to have the backing of the board at least up to the international break later this month.

West Ham have just three fixtures in front of them, one of them being a home Premier League showdown with Aston Villa, with a trip to Manchester City being postponed due to their opponents' FA Cup involvement.

Either side of the Villa game, West Ham face two matches with AEK Larnaca in the last 16 of the Europa Conference League, a competition which represents an opportunity for silverware.

West Ham head in Thursday's first leg in Cyprus on the back of winning all eight of their contests in the tournament during 2022-23.

Nevertheless, just one win has been recorded in six matches in all competitions, while nine goals have been conceded in their most recent three away encounters.
