James Tomkins has put pen to paper on a four-year contract extension with West Ham United.
The 25-year-old centre-back's previous deal was due to expire at the end of next season, but he will now remain with his boyhood club until the summer of 2020.
"I've been here since I was seven and this is a long-term deal which is going to take me up until I'm in my 30s, so it's nice to commit my future here," Tomkins told the club website.
Tomkins made his Hammers debut at the age of 18 in 2008 and has gone to make over 200 appearances in claret and blue.
