West Ham United have reportedly made an approach to sign Everton defender Michael Keane.
The centre-back has made 189 appearances for Everton, chipping in with 11 goals and seven assists, but he has had to settle for a place on the bench for the majority of the current campaign.
While he has started both of Everton's League Cup games, including Wednesday's 4-1 defeat to Bournemouth, Keane has only made one appearance in the Premier League this season after falling behind James Tarkowski and Conor Coady in the pecking order.
With playing time appearing to be at a premium, Football Insider are reporting that West Ham have registered an interest in signing the 29-year-old, who is under contract until June 2025.
The report claims that the Hammers were considering a move in the summer, and they could attempt to sign Keane in January as a replacement for Craig Dawson, who has been linked with a departure
Although Everton are said to be open to offers, there is a belief that a £10m bid may be enough to complete a deal.
