Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna has reportedly emerged as a possible target for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
McKenna has established himself as one of the top prospects in Scottish football, and that has led to a number of English clubs showing an interest in the 21-year-old.
According to The Sun on Sunday, Wolves are ready to assess the credentials of the Scotland international ahead of a potential offer in one of the upcoming transfer windows.
McKenna has made a total of 45 first-team appearances for Aberdeen but the top-flight outfit face a battle to keep the player, despite a contract until 2023 having recently been signed.
Wolves are currently well stocked for players who can play at centre-back, but the ambitious Premier League side are expected to be active in the January transfer window as they look to finish as high as possible in the standings.
