Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly eager to complete the signing of Juan Agudelo.
Manager Kenny Jackett revealed last week that the club had taken the USA international on trial.
Since then, 21-year-old Agudelo has played in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Queens Park Rangers, during which he made an impression on Jackett, who would like to add the striker to his squad on a permanent basis, according to the Express & Star.
However, before any deal could be finalised, Agudelo would need to apply for a work permit, which may involve him having to register for Cypriot passport.
Agudelo is a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Stoke City.
