Laurent Frayssinous worried by Morgan Escare treatment

Catalans Dragons coach Laurent Frayssinous believes that full-back Morgan Escare should be getting more protection from referees.

Catalans Dragons coach Laurent Frayssinous has claimed that Morgan Escare is not receiving the protection that he should from referees.

The 23-year-old French full-back, who was the team's leading try-scorer last season, is considered to be one of the most exciting talents in Super League.

However, Frayssinous believes that Escare is being treated unfairly by aggressive opposition players.

"I am angry and frustrated," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "I'm really worried and concerned about the way Morgan Escare is being treated. The opposition started to target him at the end of last season and it is happening this year."

The Dragons continue their Super League campaign on February 28 when they host Warrington Wolves.
