Hull came out on top against Leeds Rhinos in their mid-table clash at the KC Stadium this evening.
The visitors went ahead in the tenth minute when Ben Jones-Bishop went over but this was soon cancelled out as Danny Tickle went up the other end to score a try four minutes later.
The Rhinos regained their advantage soon after when Carl Ablett scored the visitors' second try of the match but again they couldn't hold a lead as Will Sharp and Tom Briscoe scored twice in quick succession to give the hosts a half-time lead.
Tickle then sent over three goals to put Hull 12 points ahead midway through the second period.
Ryan Hall cut the lead to eight points with a try fifteen minutes from time but Briscoe went over for his second five minutes from time to ease any pressure on the home side.
Tickle scored a couple more goals before Ben Crooks went over for Hull's fifth try.
There was still time for Leeds to get one last try in the dying moments as Danny McGuire went over.
