A hat-trick from Elliot Whitehead has earned the Bradford Bulls a 36-18 win at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.
The hosts went ahead inside the first minute when Ben Cockayne went over for the try.
Bradford edged in the lead minutes later when Jarrod Sammut kicked over the first of six goals following Keith Lulia's score.
Steve Southern's try, kicked over by Isaac John, swung the tie back in favour of the Wildcats, but Whitehead's first score of the match gave the Bulls a 12-8 advantage at the interval.
Danny Kirmond's try in the 43rd minute looked to have got Wakefield off to a good start in the second half. However, tries from Brett Kearney and Whitehead saw Bradford steadily pull away from their opponents.
Whitehead sealed his hat-trick on the hour before Kearney went over for his second try of the match to give the visitors a 36-14 advantage.
Richard Mathers touched down in the final 10 minutes, but it was only a consolation for the home side.
