England sevens captain Tom Mitchell has said that he is "looking forward" to facing Australia in the Group D decider at Ibrox this evening.
Both teams have won their opening two matches on day one of the Commonwealth Games rugby sevens, meaning that the penultimate encounter tonight will decide who tops the group.
The first day of sevens is often about building momentum for day two, but Mitchell is refusing to look past this evening's match against England's great Commonwealth rivals.
"The medals are won tomorrow, but we've got another game today before we get there, so we're focusing on that and need to take each game as it comes," he told Sports Mole.
"[I'm] looking forward to [the Australia match]. We'll switch off now and focus on that when the time comes."
Mitchell, who was the top points scorer in the World Series season just finished, has touched down four times already at the Games as England cruised to comfortable victories over Sri Lanka and Uganda.
