London Irish director of rugby Brian Smith has revealed his delight at the acquisition of Myles Dorrian from Exeter Chiefs.
The 30-year-old, who is currently on loan at Bedford Blues, has made just nine appearances for Exeter during an unsuccessful spell at the club.
"He's a seasoned professional with a great attitude and work ethic," Smith told the club's official website.
"Myles understands the game and has the ability to make things happen and he'll provide even more experience as a play caller."
Dorrian has also played for the Brumbies.
