Italy will be without Sergio Parisse for the remainder of the Six Nations campaign after the number eight was handed a 30-day suspension.
The 29-year-old was dismissed playing for club side Stade Francais last Saturday, when it is understood that he verbally abused a match official.
A statement from the French league's disciplinary commission read: "Mr Sergio Parisse will be allowed to play again on 18 March 2013."
Parisse, who has won 93 caps for his country, has been called a 'serial offender' by Wales defence coach Shaun Edwards.
