Edinburgh have completed the signing of former British and Irish Lions hooker Andy Titterrell.
The 31-year-old has been brought in as injury cover for Steven Lawrie, who has been sidelined since December.
Titterrell will face stiff competition for a starting place from Scotland captain Ross Ford and academy graduate Alun Walker.
"We're very happy to have secured the services of such an experienced campaigner," said Edinburgh head coach Michael Bradley.
"Andy [Titterall] has competed at the highest level for club and country and will offer an exciting option at number two to Ross Ford while we continue to bring on young Alun Walker."
Titterrell will be reunited with forwards coach Neil Back with whom he worked during his spell at Leeds.
