Worcester Warriors began their return to the Aviva Premiership with a narrow victory over Sale Sharks at Sixways.
The Warriors had to come from behind, having trailed 6-0 just before the break following an early penalty and a drop goal from Nick MacLeod.
Miles Benjamin scored a try in first-half stoppage-time, which Andy Goode converted, to send the Warriors in ahead at the break.
The home side were then awarded a penalty try 10 minutes into the second-half, converted again by Goode.
Two MacLeod penalties kept Sale in the hunt, but Goode kicked a penalty of his own to maintain Worcester's lead and seal the victory.
