Janko Tipsarevic fought hard to beat Dmitry Tursunov in the first round of the Australian Open.
An extremely tight first set between the two ended with Tursunov taking it 7-5.
The close competition continued, with both players giving their all to claim the set. However, it was Tipsarevic that clinched the second 7-6.
The Serbian began to dominate proceedings and took the third set from Tursunov with a 6-3 win.
Tursunov was unable to disrupt Tipsarevic's rhythm as he took the fourth set 6-4 to book a place in the second round.
