Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has reached the French Open semi-finals for the first time with a straight-sets triumph over Roger Federer.
The sixth seed came through the opening set 7-5 before taking the second 6-3 as the world number three struggled to keep up with his French opponent.
Both players exchanged breaks at the start of the third, but it was Tsonga who broke twice more to seal the victory 6-3.
Tsonga's reward for beating Federer is a semi-final clash with Spanish fourth seed David Ferrer.
