Novak Djokovic was delighted with his 6-1 7-6 Sony Ericsson Open final win over Andy Murray in Miami and believes it was a 'fantastic tournament' for him.
The world number one ended the hard-court season in strong fashion with his third Miami Masters title and was very happy with how he played throughout the competition.
"It was definitely a great match to be a part of. I played really well from the start to the end. Andy was really close to winning the second set and the match could then have gone either way," said the Serbian.
"It was a fantastic tournament for me after a disappointing loss in the semi-finals of Indian Wells. I needed to regroup, practice hard and get ready for this event.
"I managed to come up with my best tennis when I needed to so I'm really delighted."
With the triumph, Djokovic recorded his 11th ATP Masters tournament win, which moves him level with American legend Pete Sampras.
