Stanislas Wawrinka defeated Milos Raonic in straight sets to advance through to the final of the World Tennis Tournament.
The number four seed prevailed 7-6[2] 7-6[7] following two tightly-contested sets in Rotterdam to set up a meeting with Tomas Berdych.
Both players managed to hold their serve in the opener to pave the way for the first tie-break, and it was Wawrinka who just about held his nerve, recovering from squandering three set points to eventually edge out his opponent.
It was a similar story in the next set, with both players once more holding serve which meant that another breaker would be required to split the pair.
Raonic was gifted a glorious chance to level things up overall when presented with two set points, but he failed to take his opening and it was then left to Wawrinka to secure five of the next six points to progress to the final.
Berdych overcame Gilles Simon in the day's other semi-final, dropping just three games on his way to a 6-2 6-1 win.
