Great Britain's Gordon Reid reaches the quarter-finals of the men's wheelchair tennis singles by defeating Stefan Olsson in straight sets.

Great Britain's Paralympian Gordon Reid has booked a place in the quarter-finals of the men's wheelchair tennis singles competition.

The British number one managed to see off Sweden's Stefan Olsson 7-5 6-4 in a tough encounter on centre court at Eton Manor.

The 20-year-old held his serve well in the opening exchanges and eventually snatched a vital break in order to push on and grab the set lead.

The second set was a tight affair between the duo and while Reid created a number of double faults, he was able to compose himself and grab the break and keep his lead to clinch the set and the match.

Meanwhile, Great Britain's flag bearer Peter Norfolk failed to defend his double Paralympic gold after losing two sets to one to Israel's Shraga Weinberg.
