Great Britain's Andy Lapthorne and Peter Norfolk are safely through to the quad doubles tennis final in straight sets.

Great Britain's wheelchair tennis duo Andy Lapthorne and Peter Norfolk have the chance of bringing home another gold medal for the host nation after comfortably securing a place in the quad doubles final.

The pair started off well and managed to retain their serve to take a vital set-lead 6-2 over their Japanese opponents Shota Kawano and Mitsuteru Moroishi.

The British pair managed to stay composed and keep up their domination in the second set by clinching the victory 6-2, leaving their opponents to contest for the bronze-medal match.

The final is due to take place on Saturday.
