World number four Andy Murray has learned that he will take on Spaniard Feliciano Lopez in round three of the US Open.
Lopez set up the match thanks to a victory over his compatriot Pablo Andujar on one of the outside courts at Flushing Meadows this evening.
Thirty-year-old Lopez took a two-set lead, before being pegged back by Andujar.
The deciding set was evenly contested until Lopez found a decisive break to advance through 7-5.
His match with Murray has been scheduled for Saturday.
