World number one Novak Djokovic cruised past Argentina's Carlos Berlocq in Thursday's US Open night session with a devastating 6-0 6-0 6-2 win.
Berlocq, ranked 74th, took 66 minutes to get off the mark, avoiding a triple bagel when he broke serve early in the third set.
The Argentine broke again in the final set, before Djokovic got the crowd in a frenzy with a between-the-legs shot moments before bagging the victory after 90 minutes.
Djokovic advances to face Russian Nikolay Davydenko in the next round.
