AC Milan have confirmed that they expect Mario Balotelli to feature in next week's Champions League qualifier with PSV Eindhoven.
Balotelli has struggled throughout pre-season with a knee injury, which forced him out of Italy's friendly against Argentina last Wednesday.
Rossoneri vice-president Adriano Galliani revealed that Balotelli has responded well to treatment in the past few days and is expected to travel to Holland next week.
He told Sky Sport Italia: "Balotelli should be able to make it. His knee is improving and boss Massimiliano Allegri has told me that he should play.
"Milan are in fine form both physically and mentally. I saw the side play in the United States and we seemed to be in good shape, now we'll just have to wait and see."
The 23-year-old scored 12 times in 13 appearances for Milan last season after swapping Manchester City for the San Siro in January.
