Massimiliano Allegri: 'Juventus are still the title favourites'

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri believes that Juventus are still favourites for the Serie A title, despite recent criticism.

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has insisted that Juventus are still favourites for the Serie A title.

Juve have face criticism for their recent performances despite remaining unbeaten so far this season.

Allegri, whose Milan side travel to Juventus tomorrow, believes that the title favourites remain a very strong side.

"I don't think [Antonio] Conte's team can be regarded as being in crises following their draw with Galatasary," Allegri told reporters. "They always play a great brand of football.

"I think Juve have the same characteristics as they did both two months ago and last year, as far as I'm concerned they remain favourites for the Scudetto.

"We'll need to battle on the field of play and I think we'll see a great game tomorrow night."

Milan travel to the Juventus Stadium at 7.45pm on Sunday.
