Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. PSV Eindhoven

Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Tuesday's Champions League Group B clash with PSV Eindhoven.

Already guaranteed a first-placed finish in Champions League Group B, Arsenal head to the Philips Stadion to face PSV Eindhoven in their final contest on Tuesday.

The Gunners sailed through to the last 16 courtesy of a 6-0 dismantling of Lens last time out, opening up an unassailable four-point lead over their upcoming hosts in the process.

However, Mikel Arteta's side have some domestic mistakes to rectify in the Netherlands, having lost 1-0 to Aston Villa in Saturday's Premier League clash to remain second in the table.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's injury and suspension news ahead of their showdown with PSV, who will also qualify for the knockout rounds in second place.

Bukayo Saka

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Foot
Possible return date: December 12 (vs. PSV)

Bukayo Saka missed Arsenal's final pre-flight training session on Monday due to a foot injury, and while he has travelled with the group, he is not expected to be involved on matchday six.

Gabriel Martinelli

Status: Out
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: December 17 (vs. Brighton & Hove Albion)

Gabriel Martinelli was not seen in Arsenal's practice session at London Colney either, apparently due to an illness, which will keep the Brazilian out of Tuesday's game.

Takehiro Tomiyasu

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: January 20 (vs. Crystal Palace)

Regular injury victim Takehiro Tomiyasu sustained a calf problem during the Gunners' win over Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier this month, and the Japan international could spend up to six weeks on the sidelines.

Jurrien Timber

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Fellow full-back Jurrien Timber left the field after just 50 minutes on his Premier League debut against Nottingham Forest, and the Dutchman is at risk of missing the rest of the campaign with that ACL problem.

Thomas Partey

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: December 28 (vs. West Ham United)

Likewise, Thomas Partey is also in with a chance of making his competitive return before the calendar year is up, having been forced to undergo surgery on a recent thigh injury.

Fabio Vieira

Status: Out
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: January 20 (vs. Crystal Palace)

In contrast, Fabio Vieira will not be seen in an Arsenal shirt until January at the earliest due to a groin injury, which the Portuguese playmaker also required surgery to correct.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players banned for this match, and Mikel Arteta himself will be back in the dugout after serving a touchline ban against Villa at the weekend.
