Arsenal defender Johan Djourou says that the club must remain "focused" when they face Chelsea this weekend.

Arsenal defender Johan Djourou has reiterated the importance of Saturday's Premier League clash with Chelsea.

The Gunners suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Wigan Athletic on Monday, and Djourou has called on the club to perform better if they are to secure a Champions League place this season.

"[Chelsea] still want to have Champions League football next season as well so we know it is going to be a tough game," he told Arsenal Player.

"Obviously they have a lot of fixtures, the two Barcelona games are either side [of Saturday's match] but we don't really concentrate on that. We have to be focused on our game and be focused on what we do best."

Arsenal currently sit third in the Premier League table.
