Wolves midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong will undergo further tests on an injury suffered in Wolves' 3-2 loss to Aston Villa.
Frimpong, who is on loan at Wolves from Arsenal, had to be stretchered off and taken to hospital after being accidentally kicked in the head by Villa midfielder Stiliyan Petrov.
"I can't remember too much about it to be honest," Frimpong told Wolves' official website.
"I remember heading the ball and from what I heard I then got a kick in the face.
"We'll just have to give it a couple of days and wait for it to settle down."
The Ghanaian midfielder later joked about the incident on Twitter, saying "You lot should stop caring about me I hope petrov foot is on after hitting a metal face [sic]."
Sports Mole recently announced the sponsorship of Frimpong's Wolves kit until the end of the season.
