Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has insisted that his "dominant" team will beat Manchester City in Monday's Premier League clash at the Emirates.
Leicester City will top the table at Christmas regardless of the result in London, but Arsenal and Man City are still seen by the bookmakers as the favourites to go head to head for the title this season.
Ozil has claimed that his team are now "more confident" in their own ability and has backed the Gunners to secure a big three points against Manuel Pellegrini's outfit.
"We are a more confident team this season. I can feel as a player on the pitch the team is more confident when we play. We dominate the other team," Ozil told The Times.
"The team believes in itself more this season. It's not just started now. It's been going for the whole year. We played very good football in the second half of last season. The players believe we can be successful this season.
"I believe we will take the three points from City. We want to win because it's at our home and we want to be successful. We are more hungry this season."
Arsenal, who are second in the table, currently have one more point than third-placed Man City on the same number of games.
