Jose Mourinho 'at peace' with Arsene Wenger

Jose Mourinho says that there is no bad blood between him and Arsene Wenger as Chelsea prepare for this evening's Premier League clash with Arsenal.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has said that he does not regret comments he made about Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger during his first spell in charge at Stamford Bridge.

The Portuguese coach provoked an angry reaction from the media when he accused the Frenchman of being a "voyeur" for what he perceived as constant criticism of his team.

He said at the time: "I think he is one of these people who is a voyeur. He likes to watch other people.

"There are some guys who, when they are at home, have a big telescope to see what happens in other families. He speaks, speaks, speaks about Chelsea."

The two teams go head-to-head at the Emirates Stadium this evening, and when questioned about his remarks, the 50-year-old, who returned to Chelsea this summer, remained defiant.

"No, I don't regret [it]," he told reporters. "These are football fall-outs, not personal fall-outs. Football fall-outs you have today and forget tomorrow. I'm not friends with him because, to be friends, you need to be close and time to develop that relation, but we have a lot of respect.

"He was speaking about Chelsea all the time, always making jibes and criticisms, and the money and this and that. It was too much.

"At this moment he's totally focused on his team and his club. He's not looking to us. Peacefully, we are living without any kind of problems."

The Gunners are two points ahead of the Blues at the moment.
