Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly interested in signing Real Madrid attacker Lucas Vazquez.
Vazquez has been regularly involved in the Madrid squad this season, but the 26-year-old has only started five La Liga matches during the 2017-18 campaign - managing just one goal in the process.
Gareth Bale's return to fitness will further harm Vazquez's chances of first-team action, and it is understood that the Spaniard is considering his future at the Bernabeu.
According to Don Balon, news of Vazquez's situation has alerted Arsenal, with the Premier League club identifying Vazquez as a potential replacement for Alexis Sanchez.
Sanchez will be out of contract at the Emirates Stadium next summer, and it appears almost certain that the Chilean will leave either this month or on a free transfer at the end of the current season.
Mesut Ozil and Jack Wilshere will also see their Arsenal deals expire at the end of June 2018.
