Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea reportedly all emerge as admirers of Leeds United forward Wilfried Gnonto.

Leeds United forward Wilfried Gnonto has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for three of the Premier League's biggest clubs.

When the Yorkshire giants signed Gnonto in September, it was deemed somewhat of a coup even with the youngster not established as a senior player at FC Zurich.

The versatile attacker has already been selected in an Italy training camp by Roberto Mancini, yet it was Leeds who would win the race for his signature.

Since his arrival at Elland Road, the 19-year-old has become a key player, contributing two goals and three assists in 12 starts and four substitute outings in the Premier League.

Two of those assists have come in successive matches, Gnonto playing an instrumental role in Leeds securing four points from fixtures with Brighton & Hove Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Should Leeds fail to avoid relegation from England's top flight, there would be an inevitability about the sale of the now eight-cap Italy international.

Nevertheless, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Leeds may have to fend off interest in his signature regardless of how they fare during the remainder of the season.

The report suggests that each of Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea are monitoring any developments with the future of the prospect.

Leeds are currently in a strong position with regards to his future due to over four years remaining on his contract.

However, Leeds would be presented with the opportunity to make a substantial profit on the fee that they paid less than 12 months ago, alleged to be in the region of £10.5m.

Arsenal could be in the market for a new wide player to act as competition for Gabriel Martinelli on the left flank, subsequently giving Mikel Arteta the option of using the Brazilian down the middle if required.

Manchester City have already been linked with a fellow left winger in Kaoru Mitoma of Brighton & Hove Albion, seemingly making it clear that they are looking for additions in that area of the pitch.

With Chelsea potentially parting ways with Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech this summer, there may be room for another fresh face to be added in the final third.
