Arsenal will meet Saint-Etienne on Tuesday to discuss a swoop for 18-year-old defender William Saliba, according to a report.

Arsenal will reportedly meet with Saint-Etienne on Tuesday to discuss a potential move for William Saliba.

The 18-year-old, who has also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur, made 16 Ligue 1 appearances for his French club during the 2018-19 campaign.

Saliba only recently agreed a new four-year contract with Les Verts but his future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks.

According to French journalist Manu Lonjon, Arsenal will hold discussions with Saint-Etienne on Tuesday with the view to potentially closing a deal for the teenage centre-back.

ASSE are said to be looking for a £27m transfer fee for Saliba, while they would want the France Under-20 international to return to the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard on loan for the 2019-20 campaign.

Arsenal, meanwhile, have also been credited with an interest in Borussia Dortmund youngster Dan-Axel Zagadou.
