Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta wants his club to sign three new players before this summer's European Championships start, according to a report.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is keen for his club to sign three new players before this summer's European Championships get underway on June 12.

The Gunners signed Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares during the January transfer window but are expected to be more active ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

According to the Daily Mail, Arteta wants at least three new players to arrive at the Emirates Stadium this summer and is determined for the club to secure each deal before Euro 2020 begins.

The report claims that a new box-to-box midfielder, a central defender and a creative central midfielder are seen as priorities, with Feyenoord's Orkun Kokcu being considered.

Arsenal are allegedly concerned that a strong performance by one of their potential targets at the European Championships could see them priced out of the market.

The London giants are currently 10th in the Premier League table, 10 points off fourth-placed Chelsea ahead of their next league game at home to Newcastle United on February 16.
