Report: Arsenal want Villarreal's Mateo Musacchio

A report claims that Arsenal want to sign Villarreal centre-back Mateo Musacchio in this summer's transfer window.

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Villarreal centre-back Mateo Musacchio.

The 25-year-old, who joined Villarreal from River Plate in 2010, has been consistently linked with a move away from El Madrigal over the last couple of transfer windows.

Manchester United and Barcelona are both believed to be admirers of the Argentine international, but according to The Express, the strongest interest has arrived from the Emirates Stadium.

Injury restricted Musacchio to just 13 La Liga appearances during the 2015-16 campaign.
