Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish has claimed that he 'needs' to be showcasing his talent in the Premier League.
The 22-year-old has been at the Midlands club for his entire career so far, having broken into the first team in the 2014-15 season.
Grealish, who has been in trouble for off-field incidents in the past, has had to settle for Championship football in the last two seasons.
In the current campaign, the midfielder has impressed in 19 league appearances, which has included one goal and four assists, but he is determined to be playing in the top flight again.
"For me to put myself up there, I need to be doing it in the biggest league, which is probably the Premier League," Grealish told Sky Sports News.
"I'm enjoying what I'm doing but at the moment, there's only really one aim - to get the club back to the Premier League."
Villa are currently fourth in the Championship table, seven points adrift of the automatic promotion places.
