Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has revealed that striker Christian Benteke has remained humble regarding his success at the club.
Benteke has scored 28 times since his arrival at Villa Park last year, but Lambert has insisted that he has not noticed a change in the Belgian's personality during his time in the West Midlands.
The 44-year-old told the Birmingham Mail: "He hasn't changed one bit in the last year considering the success that he's had.
"If he keeps doing that, allied to what's happening on the pitch, he'll be a great player. As long as he doesn't think he's anything other than that.
"The group don't say much, they give you everything on a Saturday, there's no-one who's flamboyant or big headed."
Benteke was linked with a summer move to Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, before signing a new contract with Villa.
