Preview: Celtic vs. Barcelona

Sports Mole previews the Champions League Group G clash between Celtic and Barcelona at Celtic Park.

Celtic welcome Spanish giants Barcelona to Celtic Park on Wednesday with the Scottish outfit currently sitting second in Group G.

The Hoops were beaten by a last minute Jordi Alba goal when the two sides met in the Champions League two weeks ago, but they will have been buoyed by their performance at the Nou Camp.

A record of one win, one draw and a defeat from their first three games has given them a chance of advancing from the group, while Barcelona have recorded three wins from three matches.

The Spanish outfit have also made their best ever start to a La Liga season and will be keen to wrap up early progression when they face Neil Lennon's side.

Celtic are expected to keep faith with the majority of the side that faced Barcelona last time out, with Gary Hooper and Kris Commons both impressing in Spain.

Meanwhile, Tito Vilanova is expected to recall Alexis Sanchez to his starting side, along with Alex Song. However, Adriano will undergo a late fitness test.
