Antonio Rukavina: 'We can overcome Barcelona'

Ahead of Wednesday's Copa del Rey semi-final first leg, Villarreal defender Antonio Rukavina claims that Barcelona find it difficult to play against his team.

Villarreal defender Antonio Rukavina is confident that his side can overcome Barcelona in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey.

The Yellow Submarine will travel to Camp Nou for the first leg on Wednesday evening.

Rukavina has accepted that his side are the underdogs, but believes that an upset is on the cards over the two legs.

"Betting, fans, media, experts... they all say Barca is going to win, everyone says that except us," he told Goal.com.

"We see our chance in second leg and today we could even lose by one goal. Last year Barcelona beat us twice, but not easily. Our style of play doesn't suit them! And I am not the only one with that opinion.

"Every time we played them, we were very close, today might be the day we get reward for all those previous matches."

The two sides met in La Liga just 10 days ago, with Barca running out 3-2 winners.
