Barcelona reveal that winger Ousmane Dembele has been ruled out for approximately 10 weeks due to a hamstring injury.

Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele has been ruled out of action for 10 weeks due to a hamstring injury.

The France international has seen his stint at Camp Nou frequently interrupted by injuries, with the latest one being sustained during Wednesday night's Champions League fixture with Borussia Dortmund.

After undergoing tests since picking up the issue, Dembele is now set to be absent from the squad until the early months of 2020.

A club statement read: "A medical examination has confirmed that first-team player Ousmane Dembele has suffered a muscle injury to his right hamstring.

"His estimated layoff time is approximately 10 weeks."

The 22-year-old has been limited to just five starts and four substitute outings in La Liga and Europe this season.
