Barcelona's Lionel Messi has insisted that he can still improve as a footballer.
The 24-year-old is widely regarded as the best player in world football today.
However, the Argentine international believes that there is still more for him to learn.
"I am playing for one of the best teams in history," he said. "I'm very grateful for everything I've been able to achieve, for the family I have, for the people who surround me.
"But I always believe better things will come, I want to grow and mature as a person. I still have so much to learn. I am the way I am at every moment. I am not playing a role.
"It makes it easier to be myself. I don't have to watch what I do. I just do what I do. Remember I am only 24 years old."
Messi became Barcelona's leading goalscorer of all time last season.
