Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova insists that Pep Guardiola's achievements at the club are "unrepeatable".

Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova has played down suggestions that his side are on course to better their trophy haul under previous boss Pep Guardiola.

Barca hammered Athletic Bilbao 5-1 to maintain their impressive start to their La Liga campaign on Saturday night.

However, Vilanova, who took over from Guardiola in the summer, has tried to dampen expectations by insisting that their 14 titles in four years under the former coach is "unrepeatable".

"Those four years are unrepeatable because of everything that was done, because of the titles and because of how the team played," said Vilanova, who served under Guardiola as his assistant.

"I'm very proud that I was part of it."

Barcelona travel to Real Betis next time out in La Liga.
