Inter Milan hope to sign Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal this summer, according to a report.

Inter Milan are reportedly hopeful of signing Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal this summer.

The 32-year-old has again been an important player for the Spanish champions this season, contributing six goals and three assists in 31 appearances in all competitions.

Vidal's current deal at San Siro will expire next summer, though, and the Chile international has been strongly linked with a move away from Camp Nou over the last few months.

According to Calciomercato, Inter are hoping to secure a deal for the South American ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

The report, however, claims that Barca have currently placed a €20m (£17m) valuation on the midfielder as they still consider him to be an important player despite his age and contract situation.

Vidal won four Serie A titles with Juventus before joining Bayern Munich in 2015.
