Philippe Coutinho could reportedly return to Inter Milan on a two-year loan deal this summer.
The 27-year-old is currently on loan at Bayern Munich from Barcelona and is due to return to his parent club at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
A number of clubs have been credited with an interest in the Brazil international, though, amid suggestions that he will be allowed to leave Camp Nou once again this summer.
Bayern currently have the option of signing the playmaker on a permanent deal, although it is thought that the German side will reject the opportunity due to the cost.
According to Tuttosport, a return to Inter on a two-year loan is a possibility providing that Barca are able to sign Argentina forward Lautaro Martinez as part of the agreement.
Coutinho joined Inter from Vasco de Gama in 2008 and scored five times in 47 appearances for the Serie A giants before completing a move to Liverpool in 2013.
The attacker, who is thought to be a target for both Manchester United and Chelsea, has scored nine times and contributed eight assists in 32 appearances for Bayern during the 2019-20 campaign.
