Xherdan Shaqiri has claimed that he turned down Juventus to join Inter Milan this month.
The Swiss international, who completed his move from Bayern Munich to Inter on Saturday, has also revealed that he had offers from the Premier League.
"I had offers from England and Germany but my wish was to join Inter," he told reporters.
"Juventus was also an option but I wanted Inter. I spoke to [Inter coach Roberto] Mancini on the phone and he explained the project to me and it really had an impact.
"The choice was very clear. Moreover, the idea to play in a new league fascinated me."
Shaqiri has previously been linked with moves to both Liverpool and Stoke City.
